There is no account to create yet, and for buying a script you do not need one.
How it works right now
- Pick a script and press the order button. While we change payment provider, that reaches us through the contact page.
- You get a download link straight away.
- Updates within the version you bought come by email, to the address you paid with.
No account, no password to forget, nothing storing your details on this site. For a shop selling a handful of scripts, that is a feature rather than a shortcoming.
The one thing worth signing up for
The newsletter, in the box on the left. New scripts, new versions, and what we learn building them. Once a month at most, and your address never goes anywhere else. It is also how you will hear when the Shopping Cart and the Host Manager are ready.
A members area, later
When there are enough scripts and enough customers to justify it, an account would be worth having — a place to re-download what you bought without hunting for the email, see which version you are on, and get every update in one place. A lifetime membership covering everything on the site is the obvious thing to offer alongside it.
We are not going to build a login screen before there is anything behind it. When it exists, this page is where it will be, and everyone who has already bought something gets an account with their purchases already in it.
